National Permit

The following are the details for obtaining National Permit under the KMV/CMV Act, from the Road Transport Authority.

Procedure for obtaining National Permit:

Application & Documents required:

a) Application in CMV Form 45

b) Authorization application in CMV Form 46

c) Documents such as registration / Fitness Certificate, Tax Card, Insurance, Emission Certificate to be produced.

d) Minimum States to be opted – 3 States

Fees & Tax payable:

1. Fee Rs.1100/-

2. Authorization Fee Rs.500/-

3. Demand Drafts for opted states

Validity for National Permit

e) Permit will be issued in KMV Form 50 valid for 5 years from the date of issue

f) Authorization will be issued in CMV Form 47 valid for one year from the date of issue.
